Sautéed Herbs & Persian Lime With Feta Puffs

This recipe is super simple and made with only 3 ingredients. A very tasty finger food option as a party snack or a home-made treat. Here I show you two styles of making these puffs. There are lots of other options to roll the puff pastry, so please go ahead and experiment with different shapes.



Ingredients:

(4 Serves)

- 100g Feta (It works perfectly with a cashew fetta for a plant-based option)

- 2 Puff Pastry Sheets

- 1/3 Cup Ghorme Sabzi - Sautéed Herbs & Persian Lime


Direction:


Style 1- Rolls

1- Preheat oven 180C.

2- Line an oven tray with baking paper

3- Put a layer of Ghormeh Sabzi - Sautéed Herbs & Persian Lime on top

4- Crumble on half the feta.

5- Gently start to roll the puff pastry.

6- Cut the roll gently to 3 cm slices

7- Bake for about 30 minutes or until the pastry is golden.



Style 2- Triangles

1- Preheat oven 180C.

2- Line an oven tray with baking paper

3- Cut the puff pastry to square shapes and transfer to the baking tray.

3- Put half a tsp of Ghormeh Sabzi - Sautéed Herbs & Persian Lime in the middle.

4- Insert a small piece of feta.

5- Bring one side of the square to the opposite side to create a triangle.

6- Seal the edges, pressing them down using a fork.

7- Bake for about 30 minutes or until the pastry is golden.


*TIP: For easier handling of the puff pastry, transfer it to a baking tray and then add the stuffing so you don't have to move the pastry.
