Persian Lime has a wonderful citrus-like, fermented flavour. Also known as Limoo Omani, Lumi, or Dried Lime this distinctive fruit is only used in dried form to add aroma and tanginess that is a signature to Middle Eastern cuisine.

Sprinkle over pilaf, soups, and salads, use in marinates or as a substitute for sumac. Add a teaspoon of Persian Lime to any of our cooking sauces just before serving for extra rich flavours. Cooking them for too long may bring out a bitter flavour.

It is a delicate spice and it will bring a burst of flavour to any recipe.
