I decided to make individual Persian Love Cakes - I did use sour cream instead of yogurt (only because that’s what I had) plus in the icing I used about 3 teaspoons of lemon juice NO ROSE WATER which I find too scented for me…..these worked exceptionally well, especially served with a splash of cream.

This is a really delicious cake. It is so easy to make with the accompanying instructions. This is my second Love cake - first one I made for a birthday cake for a friend who also loved it and took the rest home. So this time we made one just for ourselves!! Yummy.
