Persian Herb Stew

Our Persian Herb Stew is the perfect base to cook Ghormeh Sabzi ('Qor-me SAB-zee'), a dish so well loved it's considered the national dish of Iran.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1)Sear the diced lamb with 2 tbsp oil or ghee and
½ tsp cracked black pepper in a medium saucepan.
2)Stir in the recipe base and fry for 2-3 minutes.
3) Add the drained kidney beans and 50ml water.
4)Bring to boil, then lower heat and simmer with lid on for 20 minutes or until meat is cooked.
Serve on steamed or saffron rice with a side of salad.
Our tip: Prefer vegetarian? Replace lamb with halloumi

Absolurtely! You can increase the volume of each sauce. Here is our tip for each sauce:

- Persian Herb Stew: Add 3 cubes of spinach. Add 2 limoo omani if you have at hand.

- Turkish Meat-ball sauce: Add 2tbsp of tomato paste & 1 Tsp cumin.

- Moroccan Tagine: Add one can of coconut milk.

- Persian Walnut Chicken: Add 2Tbsp pomegranate molases.

- Tunisian Shakshuka: Add 1 Tbsp tomato paste and 1 tsp Paprika.

Yes, store the leftover sauce in an airtight container and use within 1 week.

Make sure to use a clean spoon so you don't add any contaminations to the sauce.
