🍋Turkish Citrus & Semolina Cake Recipe

A zesty semolina cake soaked in lemon-orange blossom syrup, topped with creamy lemon butter and citrusy garnish.

You’ll need:
3 eggs
1 cup yoghurt
¾ cup oil
½ cup sugar
1 lemon
50g butter

What to do:

1- Make the syrup: Boil ½ cup sugar + ½ cup water. Add lemon juice + orange blossom water. Cool.
2-Mix eggs, oil, yoghurt. Add cake mix.
3- Bake at 175°C in 20cm tin for 40–50 mins.
4- Pour syrup over hot cake.
5- Whip butter, lemon juice + icing mix. Spread on cooled cake and garnish with pistachios, almonds, and blood orange.
